The Department of Learning Sciences and Human Development is dedicated to learning across the life span. Encompassing a diverse spectrum of education practices and human services, the department houses programs in child development and family studies, educational psychology, instructional design and technology, and program evaluation and research. Faculty and students alike master technology to share new ways to learn, teach, research, and interact in the community. With a focus on global awareness, graduates are culturally competent and develop ethical foundations to maintain integrity in their academics and professions and to simultaneously inspire others.
