Dr. Sara Anderson is an assistant professor in the Department of Learning Sciences and Human Development at West Virginia University and a Nonresident Senior Fellow for Georgetown University’s Center for Research on Children in the United States. A developmental psychologist, Anderson studies early childhood education, residential mobility and neighborhood effects. Anderson’s examination of Tulsa’s universal Pre-K program has been featured by The New York Times and NPR. Her work has been published in Developmental Psychology, Child Development, Applied Developmental Science, and Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology. She has presented her work at national and international conferences. Anderson earned her PhD in Child Development from Tufts University.
