Dr. William Beasley graduated cum laude from Davidson College in 1976 with his bachelor's in Psychology. He went on to receive both his masters of education in Educational Psychology (1977) and his Ed.D. in Education of the Gifted (1984) from the University of Georgia. His research interests include computer mediated communication in education and factors relating to academic success in undergraduate students. Prior to coming to WVU, he was a faculty member at Cleveland State University where he received the Distinguished Faculty Award for Teaching in 1998 and the University Faculty Merit Award in Teaching in 2003.
